OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – In court today, a judge denies bond for a 15-year-old from Omaha facing murder charges.

Prosecutors allege that Christopher Trejo put together a plan with gang members in Iowa to “hunt for people in the projects of North Omaha.”

Detectives say they found his DNA and gun residue on a glove connected to the March murder of 59-year-old Larry Thompson. Thompson had been shot near 28th and Spencer.

Trejo has a lengthy juvenile record including witness tampering, carrying a concealed weapon, and flight to avoid arrest.
