Mexican cement maker plans to redeem $534 mln in euro-denominated notes before they come due

Mexican cement company Cemex said it will redeem €450 million ($534 million) worth of 2.75% bonds due in 2024, which leaves €200 million outstanding, according to a securities filing. Monterrey-based Cemex plans to pay 101.375% of face value plus accrued interest on July 22, it said in the filing on Thursday.  The company issued $1 billion in perpetual bonds in early June in its second trip to the international bond market this year.
