Kate Middleton, Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth and More Royals At James Bond Premieres – TownandCountrymag.com

The British royals have a longstanding connection with James Bond. Of course, Bond himself is fictional, but the 25 movies have led to plenty of real-life events. Over the years, it has become tradition for the movie premieres to be held in London, and there are often a few royal guests in attendance. Queen Elizabeth went to her first Bond premiere in 1967, and, since then, though the Bonds have changed, the royals are permanent premiere fixtures. In light of the most recent Bond premiere last week, attended by Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince Charles, and Camilla, here’s a look back at all the times the British royals caught up with 007.

Princess Diana and Prince Charles (not pictured) both attended the premiere of The Living Daylights. Diana’s dress here, which she wore multiple times, is likely the inspiration for Kristen Stewart’s gown on the poster for the movie, Spencer.
